In the online courses, an instructor-reviewed assignment is a lesson assignment that requires an action from the student in order for the lesson to be marked as complete. The action is generally in the form of a written response or an uploaded document. Unlike most online courses, courses that make use of instructor-reviewed assignments integrate one-on-one student-instructor interaction into the course, allowing the students to get the most out of the course and the instructor's expertise.
