THT NEWS: Gail Gastelu Joins Windmill Health Products – Brings Diversified Experience and Expertise to Her Role in Business Development – Specialty Beverages

WEST CALDWELL, NJ – January, 2019 – Windmill Health Products is pleased to announce the addition of Gail Gastelu to lead Business Development – Specialty Beverages.  In this role, Gail will manage new products; business development; supply chain/vendor relations; education at store management level as well as consumer awareness/engagement; oversee website and social media planning; review beverage products across channels; attend/exhibit or present and speak at trade shows; and recognize, recommend, and develop what’s trending in the specialty beverage segment.

“We are delighted to welcome Gail to our team and excited to get rolling. Her knowledge and background bring fresh perspective and innovative ideas that will contribute to the company’s growth in the specialty beverage segment including tea, coffee, and functional products,” said Keith Frankel, CEO.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Gail has earned several World Tea Awards for her work creating the #DrinkTea Campaign for the tea associations of USA & Canada as well as an award for best tea publication for The Tea House Times, a bi-monthly tea magazine in production since 2003 which she owns and continues to publish.  Recently, Gail launched the virtual/online to connect buyers to suppliers year-round which goes well together with her online and in-person education offerings to assist anyone in the business of buying, serving, or selling tea.

As a frequent presenter at trade shows nationwide, Gail has earned recognition for her expertise and was recently offered an Ambassador role for the SIAL Canada Expert Hub as their designated Tea and Infused Beverage Expert.  In this capacity, Gail will lead education and panel discussions within the beverage tract for SIAL Canada taking place in Montreal this April/May 2019.  SIAL Canada is a member of SIAL Network (Salon International de l'Alimentation), the world’s largest network of trade fairs dedicated to food and beverages.

Gail currently serves on the advisory board for Windmill Health Products, the Tea Association of the USA’s Specialty Tea Institute Advisory Board, and over the years has been an officer or advisory board member to several associations, trade shows, and organizations.

As the beverage industry moves to meet consumer demand and adds products which promote health and wellness, Gail’s expertise lends itself well in expanding and diversifying Windmill’s specialty beverage portfolio to meet trends but satisfy consumer demand. In a time when soft drinks and sugary drinks are expected to decline, tea and coffee segments and other trending and innovative functional beverages are projected to experience highest growth and will prove to be a lucrative sector.
