NEWS: 3 ways to customize your Teavana Iced Tea at Starbucks this summer

June 10 is National Iced Tea Day and it’s the perfect time to try a new tea or an existing favorite with a special twist. With more than 170,000 ways to customize beverages at Starbucks® stores, customers can create their favorite drink that fits their lifestyle. Starbucks® offers four delicious Teavana iced teas including Black, Green, Passion Tango™ herbal and White, each making a thirst-quenching refreshment on a warm summer day. Here are three easy tips to customize your Teavana Iced Teas and celebrate the day all season long.

Try it unsweetened

For a refreshing, zero-calorie beverage, all Teavana Iced Teas are delicious as unsweetened beverages. Simply ask your barista to omit the liquid cane sugar when making your drink.

Adjust the sweetness

To lessen the sweetness, ask your barista for fewer pumps of liquid cane sugar or try a sweetener substitute such as Sweet ’N Low®, Equal®, SPLENDA® or Stevia Blend from Whole Earth.

Add a splash of lemonade

For a subtle burst of flavor, ask your barista to top off any iced tea beverage with a splash of lemonade, or make it an iced tea lemonade for a bolder beverage (additional charge applies).

Customers can also find their favorite Teavana teas where groceries are sold, including Teavana Craft Iced Teas and Teavana Tea Sachets
