The Tea and Herbal Association of Canada (THAC) is pleased to announce the launch of new in-person Tea Sommelier® class locations in both Canada and the United States. Known globally for delivering high-quality tea education, THAC has offered its Tea Sommelier® Certification Program in-person and online for nearly two decades. This latest expansion reflects growing interest in immersive, hands-on learning experiences within the tea industry.

New in-person class locations include:

· Calgary, Alberta (Canada)

· Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada)

· Boston, Massachusetts (United States)

· Wilmington, Delaware (United States)

"Tea has always been about connection, to the craft, to tradition, and to one another. Expanding the Tea Sommelier® Program to more cities is not just about education; it’s about strengthening THAC’s role as a leader in tea appreciation and culture,” says THAC President Shabnam Weber. “As interest in tea continues to grow, so does the need for trained professionals who can share the knowledge and stories behind every cup. THAC’s in-person Tea Sommelier® classes offer students the opportunity to engage deeply with tea through expert-led lectures, guided cuppings, and group discussion—ideal for those seeking insight into the tea industry or wishing to pursue a career in the field.
